Job Description

As a Community Specialist, you will be responsible for growing and managing communities under the Perempuan Inovasi and Markoding programs. You will play a critical role in engaging women, youth, and MSME communities, creating inclusive, active spaces for learning, collaboration, and empowerment.

Responsibilities

Community Growth & Engagement • Build and manage online communities (Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram, etc.) across programs • Drive daily engagement through content, discussions, and interactive formats • Respond to questions, moderate conversations, and create a supportive, inclusive environment

Community Guidelines & Culture • Develop and maintain community guidelines to ensure respectful and productive interaction • Educate community members on community rules and values to promote a safe digital space

Partnership & Collaboration • Identify and establish collaborations with relevant communities, organizations, and brands • Co-create online and offline events with partners to increase reach and relevance

Event Planning & Execution • Plan and host regular online events (e.g. webinars, IG Lives, online workshops) • Organize offline community meetups in key cities to strengthen local engagement • Coordinate logistics, speaker engagement, and attendee participation

Communication & Broadcasting • Manage broadcast channels (IG Broadcast, Telegram, WA groups) to share program updates, opportunities, and community stories • Design and schedule community newsletters and announcement templates

Community Insights & Reporting • Track engagement metrics, community sentiment, and growth across platforms • Generate reports and insights to improve community strategy and inform program

Requirements

  1. Minimum 1 years of experience in managing communities
  2. Reliable and responsive communicator with professional, clear messaging
  3. Self-motivated and takes initiative and comfortable working with minimal supervision
  4. Tech-savvy and able to optimize workflows using AI tools and other digital productivity platforms
  5. Demonstrates integrity and discretion by maintaining appropriate digital boundaries and refraining from sharing internal matters to avoid conflicts of interest or potential brand liability
