Overview

SKILVUL GROUP is a social enterprise with a mission to build accessible tech education for everyone.

Currently, we offer two main services - an end-to-end coding bootcamp (Impact Byte), and an online training & certification platform for on-demand digital skills (Skilvul), for anyone who wishes to become a programmer.

Job Description

Reporting to the Chief of Business of Skilvul Group, you will provide support for the business development and partnership activities, such as identifying sales opportunities from prospecting to closing, and when appropriate, pitch business development ideas and strategies.

Responsibilities

Primary:
  • Identify rising business opportunities and potential clients
  • Researching businesses and individuals who make purchasing decisions
  • Prospecting leads
  • Pitch our products and services to them
  • Connect with relevant stakeholders and attend networking events
  • Managing accounts
Secondary:
  • Ideation on systemized and optimised sales process
  • Keep records of research, businesses contacts, and other data (eg. how many clients approached – conversion rate, meetings booked, etc.)
  • Tertiary:
    • Administrative tasks such as creating Meeting minutes, MOU, Agreement & Contract whenever necessary
    • Following up with Invoice & Payment to each Account

    Qualifications

    • Demonstrable passion for business
    • Data-driven, solid research and analytical skills
    • Strong customer service, communication skills (verbal & written), collaboration & persuasion skills
    • Strong existing network & partnership and skills
    • High degree of initiative and efficiency & strong work ethic
    • MS Office / Google Suite - Word, Excel/Sheet and PowerPoint/Slide proficient
    • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role
    • Skills in Project Management (set goals, calculate risks, plan a budget, manage projects) will be an advantage
    • High level of interest in education, technology, or social business
    • Someone with a background studying sales/marketing, psychology, social sciences, or a business-based degree would be best suited – but we’d love to hear from all backgrounds.
