Overview

SKILVUL GROUP is a social enterprise with a mission to build accessible tech education for everyone.

Currently, we offer two main services - an end-to-end coding bootcamp (Impact Byte), and an online training & certification platform for on-demand digital skills (Skilvul), for anyone who wishes to become a programmer.

Job Description

The Programme Associate will be responsible for developing and implementing the project's M&E activities, as well as ensuring high quality and timely contributions under the guidance of the Head of Programme. They are also responsible for recording and analyzing various data in relation to the project activities. They will ensure results-based project development and knowledge management.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to preparation and development of the project proposals, such as work plans, learning journey, and budgets, that are essential for project implementation;

  • Assist in the creation of a monitoring and evaluation structure, project’s sustainabilities and impact indicator for the project success in collaboration with the Learning Team, Product Development Team, and other relevant stakeholders;

  • Monitor and evaluate best practices and innovative approaches, as well as identify and recommend further improvement according to the needs of the Activity;

  • Managing data and learning journey flows, as well as documenting and sharing lesson learned and best practices for planning and knowledge building;

  • Assist the Project Manager in preparing project completion reports and ensuring contractual obligations are met by providing substantial inputs;

  • Assist the Head of Programme with the preparation of other relevant project proposals.

Qualifications

  • Someone with a background studying Management or Social Sciences degree would be best suited – but we’d love to hear from all backgrounds. A Master's Degree is preferable;

  • At least 3 years of professional experiences in the field of pedagogy, programme/project planning, management, and M&E;

  • In-depth knowledge of MIS/M&E tools and methodologies;

  • Excellent knowledge of monitoring and the application of methodology; expertise in analyzing data using statistical tools;

  • Experience in education, technology, digital innovation, and/or cooperation with donors will be an advantage;

  • Excellent communication skills - comfortable with moderating programmes / webinars

Work Hours

  • As this is a full time role, you will be expected to work a total of 40 hours per week and attend meetings or events as required.

  • There may be occasional work on the weekend, in which case you would be able to take a time off / swap day(s) on your weekday.
