Overview
SKILVUL GROUP is a social enterprise with a mission to build accessible tech education for everyone.
Currently, we offer two main services - an end-to-end coding bootcamp (Impact Byte), and an online training & certification platform for on-demand digital skills (Skilvul), for anyone who wishes to become a programmer.At Skilvul Group, we treat each other with respect and communicate with empathy. JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Placement Coordinator, you will be responsible for our Bootcamp students’ career preparation journey, which includes creating workshops, conducting CV and cover letter checks, and matching them with suitable job openings. You may also be responsible for engagement with Hiring Partners.
Objective Key Result
Max. 60 days candidates placement (getting offer letter) from Demo Day
80% of the graduates placed within 60 days
Responsibilities
Administering support for career preparation for Bootcamp students
Career coaching (providing feedback for CV, administering interview preparation)
Compiling vacancies needed from hiring partners/employers and connecting our graduates to them (up to the interview process)
Collating feedback from our hiring partners to drive up improvement
Create activities and programs for our Alumni Community
Tracking and monitoring students’ outcome - employability
Requirements
Proven minimum 2 years of experience in recruitment/career consulting/any related fields
Having previous experience working in IT-related fields
Having a basic knowledge of career consulting/staging
Would be great if capable or experienced in creating workshops for soft skills or any career development-related training
Hands-on experience with job sites
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong communications skills (written and verbal) and negotiation skills
Expert market knowledge
