Overview
#GenerasiTerampil
Markoding supported by UNICEF Indonesia will conduct a 9-month skills development program for adolescent girls (aged 12-18 years old) with a focus on the most disadvantaged, to ensure that they are empowered with skills to fulfill their potential through increased access to high-quality learning opportunities. The adolescent girls will be equipped with 21st-century skills, product development skills, and entrepreneurial skills to help them identify the gender-related issues that matter to them and co-develop prototype solutions to tackle those problems.
A total of 225 young participants aged 10-19 years, most of whom come from underprivileged economies, have gone through a selection process of 7000 participants. They have also received design thinking training to create idea solutions to solve problems they experience.
