Overview

SKILVUL GROUP is a social enterprise with a mission to build accessible tech education for everyone.

Currently, we offer two main services - an end-to-end coding bootcamp (Impact Byte), and an online training & certification platform for on-demand digital skills (Skilvul), for anyone who wishes to become a programmer.At Skilvul Group, we treat each other with respect and communicate with empathy. Job Description

We are currently looking for a Mentor Activation Coordinator who has proven experience in maintaining community and has a passion for Educational Technology. Mentor Activation Coordinator will work closely with the Learning Strategist team.

OBJECTIVE KEY RESULT

  • Increase recruitment of Learning Facilitators (Mentors, Instructors, Idea Reviewer, etc.)

  • Drive engagement for Mentor Community

  • Tracking & Monitoring Mentor’s Performance

  • Managing and analyzing the database of mentors/learning facilitators

  • Mentor Development

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, scout, and recruit mentors and instructors to deliver on the growing needs of every batch

  • Managing partnership strategy with potential partners to achieve target Mentor Manpower Planning, including build and managing relationships with existing and potential partners/communities, also monitor and finalizing deals with partners/communities

  • Plan and execute community initiatives and programs. Drive-up engagement within Mentor Community to ensure they feel belong at Skilvul, ensure the development of mentors through various training and activities to leverage their skills and network to add values to Skilvul and vice versa

  • Maintain up-to-date, detailed records of community members across mentors, on Skilvul’s internal and communication databases

  • Track mentoring progress and document success stories to highlight program successes

  • Working with ops/other depts to ensure all administrative tasks related to the mentor onboarding process (contract, invoice, etc.) are handled properly and promptly

  • Working with Learning Team and Monev Team to Monitor and track the performance of mentors

  • Drive-up engagement within Mentor Community to ensure they feel belong at Skilvul, ensure the development of mentors through various training and activities to leverage their skills and network to add values to Skilvul and vice versa

  • Maintain regular communication and get them involved and engaged with various internal stakeholders too

Requirements

  • Proven experience to manage a community before or at least be a contributor in a certain community (ability to show this will be a plus point)

  • Minimum has 2 years of experience in tech-related recruitment or community engagement (or any similar fields)

  • Having/interested in general technical knowledge

  • Having the urge to learn and equipt high curiosity of something new

  • Having a sense of urgency and driven to strategically met the OKR fulfillment
