SKILVUL GROUP is a social enterprise with a mission to build accessible tech education for everyone.

Currently, we offer two main services - an end-to-end coding Bootcamp (Impact Byte), and an online training & certification platform for on-demand digital skills (Skilvul), for anyone who wishes to become a programmer. At Skilvul Group, we treat each other with respect and communicate with empathy. We support each other even though it is not part of our job description.

We try to create a working culture where everyone is responsible for their time. We require you to work efficiently and spend time wisely. We hope that nobody is working late here. We want to avoid bossing you around. In fact, you will be able to speak freely to anyone, including the top executives, about anything. We treat each other’s time as valuable and ask kindly for each other’s attention and help despite positions.

We expect you to prioritize and fulfill your responsibilities, but you are also welcome to pursue your hobbies, spend time with your family, hang out with friends, and do other stuff that you are passionate about. Job Description

We are looking for a knowledgeable IoT (Internet of Things) and/or instructor to be a mentor for our IoT Courses. You will be working directly with the Lead Program Mentor to help our students become IoT engineers. You can work from anywhere as long as you have a steady internet connection.

Responsibilities

• Leading Weekly Webinars

• Participating in weekly meetings

• Mentoring participants via Discord

• Mentoring final project

• Assessing participants’ Final Projects and creating reports

Requirements

• Minimum 1-year experience in IoT/Robotics/Electronic field

• Have expertise in Python Programming, Basic electronics, Electronic Circuit Analysis and Design, Raspberry Pi SBC, and sensors module

• Experienced using various tools, such as Linux CLI, NoSQL (MongoDB), Eagle/Proteus/Altium, Anaconda Environment, SSH Client, Bash scripting, Version Control

• Deep understanding of networking and multiple network protocols such as HTTP, MQTT, CoAP, WebSocket

• Excellent good public speaking skills

• Possess a teaching/knowledge-sharing experience
