Overview

SKILVUL GROUP is a social enterprise with a mission to build accessible tech education for everyone.

Currently, we offer two main services - an end-to-end coding bootcamp (Impact Byte), and an online training & certification platform for on-demand digital skills (Skilvul), for anyone who wishes to become a programmer.At Skilvul Group, we treat each other with respect and communicate with empathy. We support each other even though it is not part of our job description.

Job Description

As a Community & Partnership Specialist, you love building relationships and have a wide network of contacts within the tech industry, especially the university & tech community. Together with the Marketing team, you will build an online community to build brand awareness, also to be marketing activation for the program participant.

Responsibilities

  • Research & identify new partnerships opportunities, reach out to potential partners, and maintain relationships

  • Come up with social content, events, projects, or other initiatives that will drive communications, awareness, and engagement

  • Actively create discussions and reply to queries on forums and other communication channels in a timely manner

  • Provide community feedback to the management and stakeholders

  • Up-to-date with current trends in the tech, especially developer, community

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-year experience working in community management and engagement, or a similar role

  • Experience launching community initiatives (e.g., building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter)

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written, both in Bahasa Indonesia and English), interpersonal and public speaking skills

  • Understanding of community behavior and needs analysis

  • Strong initiative and ownership

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment

  • Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics

  • Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
