SKILVUL GROUP is a social enterprise with a mission to build accessible tech education for everyone.

Currently, we offer two main services - an end-to-end coding bootcamp (Impact Byte), and an online training & certification platform for on-demand digital skills (Skilvul), for anyone who wishes to become a programmer.At Skilvul Group, we treat each other with respect and communicate with empathy. We support each other even though it is not part of our job description.

We try to create a working culture where everyone is responsible for their own time. We require you to work efficiently and spend time wisely. We hope that nobody is working late here. We do not want to boss you around. In fact, you will be able to speak freely to anyone, including the top executives, about anything. We treat each others’ time valuable and ask kindly for each other’s attention and help despite positions.

Job Description

We are looking for an UIUx Designer, who are strategic, visionary, and innovative. You love staying on top of trends, creating products that customers love and tracking data. You will work closely with our Product, Developer, and Project Team, as well as other departments to manage an entire life cycle of new products. Your responsibilities are include but not limited to:

Responsibilities

• Creating user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback

• Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes and mockups

• Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns, and attractive user interfaces

• Designing UI elements such as input controls, navigational components, and informational components

• Creating original graphic designs (e.g images, sketches and tables)

• Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems (e.g responsiveness)

• Collaborating effectively with product, engineering, and management teams

• Incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design in order to enhance user experience

Requirements

• Having minimum 1 year of experience as a UI/UX Designer as well as a strong portfolio of related project

• Having experience in EdTech would be great.

• You are proficient in prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, etc.

• Strong problem-solving skills & agility.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to work independently and collaboratively.
